Huulilla was awarded as best short film of the year (Kettu Elokuvapalkinto) last night at the annual Jussi gala, a Finnish equivalent to the Academy Awards. We shot the film with director Joonas Rutanen in the fall 2012 and since its release it has been seen on film festivals around the world. Have to say, that winning the prize was a real surprise for all of us, and especially for Joonas, who also wrote the story. Huulilla was a really special film to work on from the very beginning and  I’m so proud of our whole cast and crew. Yay!
